Unit 2 Draft
Unit 2 Draft
My objective for my Unit 2 research is to investigate how artificial intelligence is influencing human thought, creativity, and decision-making, particularly in real-world contexts like education and daily life. People now utilize AI without even realizing it, and I want to know if it's just a useful tool or if it's starting to alter the way we think and produce.
I examined three research questions regarding AI's role and got a variety of answers. More generic responses were given to the first question, which asked whether AI is altering people's thought processes or just how they obtain information. The majority of people described AI as a quicker version of Google and concentrated on it as a tool for productivity and ease. Responses were constant, but they lacked depth.
The second point concerned the use of AI in higher education and if it ought to be subject to the same rules as plagiarism. People were forced to take a stance, which led to more deliberate responses. Although many participants said AI should be permitted as a teaching tool, they also agreed that there should be restrictions to avoid abuse. This inquiry prompted additional justification and introspection.
The third question, which focused on AI and creativity, generated the strongest reactions. By introducing the idea that AI could replace or impact human creativity, people responded with stronger opinions. Some believed AI weakens creativity, while others saw it as a tool that can enhance it. This question led to more detailed and reflective responses.
In general, I discovered that although larger questions led to shorter, more superficial responses, more focused and sometimes contentious topics produced deeper engagement. This gave me insight into how to better direct my future studies.
